Product Q&A
Why does mist not appear immediately after switching on?
Water needs to heat to boiling before producing steam. The manual advises allowing 30–40 minutes after startup; check the water level and power connection before treating a delay as a fault.
What should I do when the orange low-water light comes on?
Heating stops when the tank is empty. Switch off, unplug and let the unit cool before refilling below MAX. The manual says to wait one minute after refilling, then press Power to restart.
Can I use the shutdown timer with Auto-Clean?
No. The timer increases in 30-minute steps up to 12 hours in humidifying modes; it is unavailable in Auto-Clean mode.
Why will screen lock not activate while the light is off?
The manual requires the display light to be on before screen lock can be enabled. Press the light button briefly to turn the display light on, then hold it for two seconds to lock or unlock the screen.
Which parts can I rinse with water?
After switching off, unplugging and cooling fully, you may wash the removable top cover and clean the stainless-steel tank as directed. Leave the silicone ring attached. Only wipe the heating base and main body with a dry or lightly damp cloth; do not rinse or immerse them.
How do I remove white limescale from the tank?
After cooling and unplugging, use citric acid or white vinegar as directed for the stainless-steel tank, then rinse thoroughly. Do not use strong acids, steel wool or abrasive tools, and keep cleaning liquid out of the powered base.
